In 2025, the Hyundai Sonata saw some key changes, primarily in the trim level options. The SE is back this year as the base trim. Additionally, a new SEL Convenience trim was released, which offers the same perks as what was previously included in the Convenience Package, but is now its own trim level.

The exterior of the vehicle got a refreshed, refined new look, with a more pronounced grill and updated LED headlights.
