5 Things Drivers Love About the 2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5

Image via Mtn. View Hyundai. With its streamlined, futuristic looks, the 2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5 catches many an eye. But this midsize CUV is not just style over substance. Below, we outline some of the things people love about this award-winning car, and when you visit your Hyundai dealer, you'll find plenty more to admire. more 1. Battery Range and Ultra-Fast Charging The Hyundai IONIQ 5 is available in five trims, and even the lowest SE Standard Range trim with RWD has a 220-mile range. While there are rival EVs that compete with this, many don't have the IONIQ 5's ultra-fast charging capabilities. Using 800V battery technology, it can go from 10-80% battery level in just 18 minutes when connected to a DC fast charger. A range of 303 miles is possible from the middle three trims (SE, SEL, and Limited) if you choose RWD, and you'll get 260 miles if you go AWD. The top D100 Platinum Edition trim comes standard with AWD. 2. Fun to Drive Driving enthusiasts love Hyundai IONIQ 5 AWD models, especially with their 320-hp dual-motor powertrains that deliver up to 446 lb-ft of torque. These rocket from 0-60 in under 5 seconds. The top four RWD models have 225-hp powertrains that leverage up to 258 lb-ft of torque, so they're somewhat less fiery but still provide all the acceleration you need as well as a smooth ride. Ditto the SE Standard Range, though it's a bit less zippy off the starting grid. 3. Smart Interior The spacious interior of the IONIQ 5 sports many appealing features as standard, like the 8-way power-adjustable driver's seat with adjustable lumbar support, heated front seats, a 12.3" touchscreen with navigation, a 12.3" digital instrument cluster, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and dual climate control. 4. Eco-Friendly On top of its obvious zero-emissions benefits, the Hyundai IONIQ 5 uses eco-friendly materials throughout its interior, such as recycled plastics, eco-processed leather, and sustainable fibers. 5. Striking Exterior The IONIQ 5 has a unique, retro-futuristic design that sets it apart from other vehicles. It's sleek, sporty, and aerodynamic: a mixture of clean lines and sculpted surfaces, with a diagonal line at each side and pronounced arches over large wheels. As your local Hyundai dealer, we'll happily let you experience the IONIQ 5's allure. Contact Mtn. View Hyundai in Ringgold, GA to learn more about the groundbreaking Hyundai IONIQ 5.

A bright red 2024 Hyundai Kona driving on the street

The 2024 Hyundai Kona's Trim Levels Explained

Image via Mtn. View Hyundai. The Kona is a fairly newer model, with its initial debut just six years ago. That's why it's so impressive to Hyundai dealerships like us when the 2024 Hyundai Kona can compete with (and beat) the biggest household names in the extremely large SUV class. more 1. SE The base model SE has a 12.4-gallon fuel tank capacity. The front-wheel drive model gets 29 MPG in the city, 34 on the highway, and 31 combined, while the optional all-wheel-drive gets 27, 29, and 28. The four-cylinder MPI-Atkinson engine has a two-liter displacement, 147 horsepower at 6,200 RPM, and 132 lb-ft of torque at 4,500 RPM. The intelligent variable transmission of the Kona SE includes a SHIFTRONIC® manual shifting mode as a standard feature. The Kona's Drive Mode Select is also standard with the base model. 2. SEL The next model in the lineup has most of the same specs as the base model with a few differences and add-ons. The front-wheel-drive SEL gets 28 MPG in the city and 35 on the highway, but it has the same combined fuel rating of 31. The fuel tank size, engine specs, valvetrain, and drivetrain are the same as the SE aside from the Idle Stop and Go being unavailable for the SEL. 3. N Line The N Line is the third Kona trim in the lineup, and it gets 26 MPG in the city and 32 on the highway for a combined rating of 28 MPG. Its optional all-wheel drive model gets 24, 29, and 26. The fuel tank size increases with this trim from 12.4 gallons to 13.2 gallons. The N Line trades in the Atkinson engine for an even more powerful GDI four-cylinder Turbo engine. This engine has a displacement of 1.6 liters, 190 horsepower at 6,000 RPM, and 195 lb-ft of torque at 1,700 to 4,500 RPM. The N Line also ditches the intelligent variable transmission for an eight-speed automatic transmission. 4. Limited The final trim in the 2024 Kona lineup keeps the upgraded mechanical specs from the N Line trim. The engine's compression ratio lies at 10:1, and the SHIFTRONIC® manual shift mode is traded out in favor of column-mounted shift-by-wire shifting as a standard feature not previously available on the first two trims. The paddle shifters that were available with an add-on package with the SEL are now standard with the N Line and Limited trims. It's no small feat to be able to rank above models that have had decades to perfect their specs, yet the Kona has received much-deserved praise for the splash it has made in the SUV market. Snazzy Features The redesigned Santa Fe is loaded with cool features that add both comfort and convenience. The two front seats are available as relaxation seats complete with leg rests. A first-of-its-kind sanitizer tray sits atop the glove compartment and sterilizes things like your phone, wallet, and other frequently handled items. The top of the new Santa Fe can accommodate rooftop tents, and a new grab bar on the vehicle's side is available for hoisting yourself up. Plenty of Tech In-cabin technology takes a large step forward with this redesign. The dashboard screen, curved to keep everything in the driver's sight, features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment area.
